Eastcoast Concrete embarked on a remarkable journey with the Sunbridge / Tavistock project, a groundbreaking initiative to construct a new water reclamation facility in an area yet to be developed. Teaming up with Vogel for this two-phase endeavor, we tackled the challenge of building essential infrastructure before homes and businesses dotted the landscape.
The scope of the project was immense, with a plethora of concrete structures erected from scratch. From chlorine contact tanks to clarifiers, splitter boxes to pump stations, and electrical buildings to sidewalks, drives, and roads, every component was meticulously crafted to exacting standards. Additionally, we installed a reverse osmosis tank and a process basin, further enhancing the facility's capabilities.
Constructing in an undeveloped area presented unique logistical hurdles, particularly in coordinating deliveries and ensuring timely access to concrete. Nevertheless, our team rose to the occasion, overcoming these challenges to deliver outstanding results.
With over 4,000 cubic yards of concrete poured, the sheer scale of the project underscored its complexity. Managing a multitude of moving parts and coordinating equipment across multiple areas of the site simultaneously demanded meticulous planning and execution.
Despite the formidable challenges, Eastcoast Concrete demonstrated unwavering dedication, expertise, and resilience throughout the Sunbridge / Tavistock project. By overcoming logistical hurdles and delivering exceptional results, we solidified our reputation as industry leaders in concrete construction, laying the foundation for sustainable growth and development in the burgeoning community.
