CLERMONT
Clermont Waste Water Treatment Facility
3335 Hancock Road, Clermont, FL 34711
Eastcoast Concrete is currently immersed in the Clermont project, a colossal undertaking in partnership with Vogel Construction, aimed at expanding a fully operational wastewater treatment facility. This ambitious endeavor involves the construction of numerous large-scale structures, including water storage tanks, aeration tanks, a headworks, clarifiers, a sludge tank, an equalization basin, and various supporting facilities such as pump pads and electrical buildings.
The scale of the project necessitates the placement of approximately 10,000 cubic yards of concrete, with a steady flow of 200-300 yards poured per week. Managing such a high volume of concrete poses logistical challenges, compounded by the cumbersome size of the rebar used in the construction process, which adds an additional layer of complexity to the project.

One of the primary challenges of the project lies in retrofitting onto an existing operational facility, requiring meticulous coordination and precise execution to minimize disruption to ongoing operations. Additionally, the project presents unique engineering hurdles, including the construction of tall curved walls for the aeration tank and the intricate design of the headworks with multiple channels.

Despite the formidable obstacles, Eastcoast Concrete remains committed to delivering exceptional results, leveraging our expertise, experience, and collaborative approach to overcome challenges and ensure the successful completion of the Clermont project. Through innovative solutions and unwavering dedication, we are proud to play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and capacity of this vital infrastructure, benefitting the community for years to come.
